At this wine-obsessed operation, you can sip more than 60 vinos by the glass and eat beef braised in amarone. The front of the house, modeled after partner Paolo della Puppa’s Upper East Side eatery Via Quadronno, serves pastries, panini and espresso; in the back, you’ll find an elegant dining room lined with dark wood booths. The Veronese menu includes smoked salmon on toast, five polentas (lard, Gorgonzola, pancetta, salami, and sausage and sauerkraut) and daily ravioli specials.
