This cute Guyanese fried chicken joint borrows freely from the South American country’s Chinese immigrants. You can get a red-and-white-striped ruff box (it’s Guyanese slang for a combo of chicken and fries to go), but your best bet is the hot and complex lo mein or fried rice. Both are studded with carrots and Chinese long beans and topped, deliciously, with Brown Betty’s crispy-skinned fried chicken.
