Restaurants, Hamburgers Upper East Side
Get antibiotic-free beef patties at the first New York location of the sustainable Florida-based burger franchise. You can have breakfast for dinner with a toppings combo of fried egg, hash browns and maple-syrup-drizzled bacon, or go vegetarian with a quinoa burger topped by a slice of white cheddar. Five high-end hot dogs include a Wagyu-kobe beef version, plus a chicken option stuffed with apple chunks. For sides, try the hand-cut fries (add Parmesan and request "extra crispy" style) or freshly battered onion rings, both made to order. A selection of biodynamic wine and tables made from recycled Coke bottles reinforce the joint's eco-friendly theme.

Great franchise - eco-friendly, high quality burgers with crunchy fries and onion rings, and ice cream shakes. Good offering of craft beer and wine. Bright and clean aesthetic with casual dining set-up. Competent staff, and easy online ordering and pick-up.

The majority of New Yorkers might disagree with this bold statement, but I think that Burger-Fi might take the #1 spot of best fast-food burgers over Shake Shack. While I love Shake Shack (of course it's a NY staple), Burger-Fi has a better variety, the quality of the food is better, and the portions you get are worth the money you spend. They also have lunch deals during the week. The inside of the restaurant is also very unique - furniture is made from recyclable material, the lighting is bright and fun, and the overall ambiance gives it a casual but not too casual feel.

All the beef used at BurgerFi is hormone and antibiotic free. The chairs they use are made from upcycled Coca-Cola bottle and tables are made from upcycled milk jugs. This place is totally environmentally friendly. Try the double angus burger with lettuce, tomato, and the super delicious BurgerFi sauce. They’ve also got a 28 day dry aged brisket burger. Vegetarians aren’t forgotten, you can dine on the outstanding crispy quinoa and fresh cut veggie burger topped with white cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and BugerFi sauce on a multigrain bun, or lettuce wrap. Save room for hand cut fries and onion rings which are out of this world!
