The sustainable-butcher-shop trend arrives in Astoria with this carvery. Locals can pick up pasture-raised chicken and pork and grass-fed beef from purveyors like Slope Farms, Flying Pig Farm and Heritage Foods. The shop doubles as a 20-seat barbecue joint, serving smoked brisket, ribs and pulled pork, alongside organic sauces and sides (mac and cheese, sweet-potato wedges). Come summer, the spot will hold lamb roasts in the 50-seat backyard.

Love this place! The Dry Rubbed Pork Ribs are some of the best in New York City. The Burnt Ends are the best in New York City! Excellent courteous service, and impeccable ambiance compiled with great BBQ, and the fact that they are a butcher shop as well, makes this a great idea. I can take some of their great steaks, house made sausages and their famous Bob's burgers home to grill. I highly recommend this place.
