From cupcake-slinging vegan queen Chloe Coscarelli comes this entirely plant-based concept in the heart of Greenwich Village, offering meat- and dairy-free grab n' go treats, cold-pressed juices and a veggie burger (tempeh-lentil-chia-walnut patty on a potato bun to add to New York's growing pantheon. Continuing her vegan crusade—she wrote three cookbooks on it—Coscarelli stocks her takeout section with matcha kelp noodles in cashew cream sauce, brunch with quinoa hash browns and organic scrambled tofu, and dessert with gluten-free ice creams (roasted banana bourbon kale cookies).

Unfried french fries? Down.

I normally don't go for vegan cuisine, but I thought this was an excellent meal. Not only was the food delicious, it was allergy-sensitive. I can't normally eat vegan food because of my soy allergies, but the options here were plentiful and conscious. The servers were pleasant, the atmosphere was clean, and the food was just GOOD! I liked the options and the location is prime. A lovely spot for a lunchtime snack.

I got a matcha-blueberry muffin and the sweet potato fries with their signature spicy sauce. Amazing!

This vegan hot spot has blown up over the past year. The line for the West Village storefront is always out the door, but luckily they've opened a few more locations (in SoHo, Flatiron, and there's one coming to Rockefeller Center). It's well worth the wait since the food is simply incredible - the selection of bowls, burgers, salads, juices, treats and more is enough to bring anybody back again and again. The Guac Burger is amazing, as is the kale dip, and seasonal lemonade. Definitely a must visit - even if you're not vegan.

I am not a vegan but I love it! I got their famous guac burger and shared with my gf an order of brussel sprouts, which is their market vegetable. Both were amazing. We were going to share the sweet potato fries, which my gfs swears by, but we saw (and smelled) and brussel sprouts and it was delicious! We are already plotting our return! Go early because it gets crazy. We got there at 6pm and was able to pick from a couple empty tables. By 6:30pm, people were waiting over our shoulders.

My affinity for the restaurant's name aside, I would go back to by CHLOE in a heartbeat.  I love a good veggie burger (though I'm neither vegan nor vegetarian) and I ordered the guac burger hoping that it would a) be covered in guacamole and b) be a delicious burger all on its own.  It was both - and it was a perfect fast casual meal in Flatiron.

When you go, don't skip the sauces once you've picked up your order.  The chipotle aioli is strong but goes with pretty much everything on the menu, and the beet ketchup is perfectly sweet.  Also, the apple cider they were offering as samples was amazing - definitely a must try!!

As a carnivore and cheese lover, I try to avoid vegan places, though I did have a soft spot for The Cinnamon Snail (RIP). After a day of shopping in Soho a few friends dragged me here to have a healthy lunch, and I was impressed.

Each person ordered something different: a burger, smoothie, a few sides and the taco salad (my pick and so good). I begrudgingly have to admit that not only did I really like each item, but I'm looking forward to coming back. The prices were right, it's in a good location, but the place is usually packed, which would be my main complaint. Just bring your order to Washington Square Park and enjoy people watching with your vegan takeout.
