I'm not embarrassed to say that I went to Cafe Ghia twice in 24 hours. The first was for a pregame on a Saturday night (even I can't turn down a $7 beer and burger special!), and the second was for a delicious brunch on Sunday morning.  We had to wait an hour for a table in the morning, but the Biscuits & Mushroom Gravy was definitely worth the wait.  I'd recommend visiting Cafe Ghia for brunch as opposed to dinner (TBH, the burgers were just okay), but either way it's a great spot to hang out in if you're visiting Bushwick.

Cafe Ghia is legit the BEST breakfast/brunch place in the small area of Bushwick, Brooklyn. I've been here several times since I live right up the block and every time has been perfect. Bottomless coffee, so DUH. They're open for breakfast & lunch only but sometimes I walk by and there's a happy hour of sorts going on.... so look out for that. The photo is of a "special" menu item which was baked eggs with lots of veggies and cheese and a biscuit - definitely more dinner than breakfast but I embraced it after a recommendation! The breakfast sandwich is awesome, the Mofongo is so delicious but beware the garlic! The Bloody Mary's are actually really great. There's also a Pizza style blood Mary which is actual pizza in liquid form and I suggest trying it. I've been with several different types of people for brunch and they all approved - family, the stuck-up bruncher type, the I never go to brunch type and the basic breakfast sandwich type, and they all enjoyed it. Waits get long on weekends of course so get there early if you don't want to wait!
