From the basic menu (printed on marbleized paper) and tinny lounge music (spilling from little speakers on the bar) it’s clear you haven’t exactly walked into one of the fanciest places in the city. But it's hard to argue with solid bowls of steaming pasta served fast in generous portions. The wait team is polite and friendly in their runs between the kitchen and bar, which is packed with locals drawn either by the impressive wood-frame mirror above or the cheesy blue neon flourish below.
