Following a 17-year stint at Nobu, chef Toshio Tomita goes solo with a tasting-menu-only restaurant in the former Kajitsu space. Three prix-fixe options feature seasonal ingredients, including house-made soba noodles and fish flown in overnight from Japan.

A dream- the next hot place in town! it was my first time at Cagen and the quality of the food, the presentation and flavor was out of this world. Better than Nobu!
