Casa Pomona (CLOSED)

A 17.5-foot-long mural depicting Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruitful abundance, is the eye-catching centerpiece of this UWS tapas spot. Pair modern Spanish dishes—like albondigas stuffed with oxtail, striped bass a la plancha and grilled sausage with preserved lemon— with white sangria on tap, while sitting at the communal cherrywood tables in the front of the room. A more traditional dining space is in the rear.

LOVE LOVE LOVE - thank god they re-opened. Great variety of tapas for my veggie friends, full gluten free menu for the extremely picky and suckling pig for me. So much better then most downtown options with larger portions, cheaper prices and they have endless brunch on weekends. Service I delightful and they have one of the cutest bartneders in the city. i'll be back... tonight ;)
