The Lower EastSide Girls Club has launched this small café in the Bowery Poetry Club. Affordable sandwiches (apple, brie and turkey) and quiches (broccoli and cheese) are made from organic and local ingredients, and coffees are fair trade. The venture offers work experience to the young women in the club, and all money earned helps support the not-for-profit's mission.
