Hudson Yards may still be under construction, but this loungey restaurant is already positioning itself as a favorite for the nouveau nabe. Addison Hospitality Group (Monarch Rooftop) and restaurateur Jeff Lam (Chinese Tuxedo) have teamed up to bring Craven’s lush 133-seat dining room and 80-seat garden to the 7 train reaches of the West Side. Executive chef Scott Andriani serves creative comfort food in a Havana-inspired setting–enjoy the Instagrammable backdrop of palm fronds and rattan chairs while munching on a menu of “craveables,” like Philly cheesesteak–grilled cheese, which are primed to be an upgrade from the usual Port Authority–area offerings.
