Time Out says

New Jersey native Brian Shebairo expands his popular East Village hot-dog mecca to Williamsburg. True to its casual roots, the small Brooklyn outpost will be outfitted with old-school video games, steel floors and a vintage skateboard collection. You'll find the same late-night munchies on offer: Tater-Tots, chili cheese fries, milk shakes and snappy, deep-fried dogs in creative combinations, like the Tsunami (bacon-wrapped with teriyaki sauce, pineapple and green onions) and the John-John Deragon (cream cheese, scallions and a sprinkling of everything-bagel seeds). But this location will also appeal to the early-morning set with a takeout window serving Intelligentsia coffee and breakfast sandwiches a few steps from the Bedford L stop.

I flipping love crif dog! The tsunami is my favorite (it has pineapple, teriyaki sauce and chives on top of a bacon-wrapped dog.) They're delicious and you have to get some tots too. Great after you've had a few drinks especially!

I've always loved hot dogs, I mean, I'm American, but Crif Dogs took my feelings to a whole new level. I keep going back for the Spicy Redneck, wrapped in bacon and topped with cole slaw. And meal here isn't complete without the tater tots, cooked to perfection (and don't forget to put some tots in your pocket for later, Napoleon Dynamite style). Don't be scared to try dogs like the tsunami (pineapple, terikyaki, green onions) or the jon-jon (cream cheese, scallions and everything seasoning)—you'll love them! There's also burgers, fries, shakes and beer. Whether you're looking for drunk food, summertime food or breakup food, this is it.
