The East Village modern Indian eatery Baar Baar is serving a special pre-fixe menu with a special tableside presentation for Diwali and will be adorned with traditional holiday decor including oil lamps (diyas), colorful floor art (rangoli), and fresh flowers, for a night to remember. Executive Chef Sujan Sarkar will serve layered kachori chaat, prepared tableside; Malai maitake mushroom with Amul cheese fondue and walnut crumble; duck seekh kebab with mint and butter emulsion and sheermal bread; goat cooked on the bone with baby onion and spices; and apple and cinnamon Fenni with toasted pecan, house-made kulfi.
