Dog and Bone

The name of this Kips Bay eatery refers to both its penchant for artisanal sausages and its four-legged manager, Winston the English bulldog. Other canines are also welcome to dine with their owners on Dog and Bone’s outdoor patio, though the food is meant for humans only. Choose between several different sausages, including a cheddar bratwurst with green tomato relish, Cumberland sausage with grilled onions and mustard, pork sausage with pickled daikon radish, cilantro and sriracha mayo and beef sausage with sauerkraut and grilled onions (all $13). Other entrees include bangers and mash with onion gravy ($18), a portobello panini with whipped goat cheese ($13) and the Ploughman’s Platter of your choice of cold pork pie or scotch egg, cheddar, pickled onions and a pickle ($18). Stop by on Sunday to try the traditional roast beef with horseradish cream, yorkshire puddings, roasted potatoes, peas and carrots ($22).

Fabulous new hip bar & restaurant in the neighborhood. Fantastic staff and great happy hour. We didn’t have time for food but the people next to us were commenting on how delicious it was. We will definitely be back!!!!

I always have a blast here and you can't beat their $10 sausage + beer happy hour deal. The crispy artichoke hearts and buffalo chicken meatballs are also both awesome. I’ve only sat at the bar and the bartenders have always been friendly and fast with drinks, something you don’t always find in the Kips Bay/Murray Hill area.

Came here for a friend's birthday. Bar area was very spacious for our large group. Excellent service. Nice selection of tap beers. Apps were good and I will definitely be back.. Not to mention, I love the whole dog theme.

Great addition to the neighborhood! Met a large group of friends here for happy hour. The food, drinks and service were fantastic! Highly recommend checking this out for happy hour. This is definitely one of our new go-to places!

Wonderful new addition to our neighborhood - the signature dogs are the business! Great draft beer selection too and if you're lucky you might meet Winston - the Hound in Chief!!

I absolutely adore this place! I met some friends there recently. At first I was reluctant because I thought it would be all sausages and nothing I could eat, but I was SO wrong. Yes, they do have the yummy sausages that my friends raved about; however, I was on a diet so I was looking for something a little lighter. Anyway, I'm so glad I listened to my friend who told me about their amazing menu. They have great salads, delicious salmon wraps, tons of veggie options, and lots of other scrumptious items. We had such a great time. Besides the delicious food, the service was great and everyone was so friendly. I'll definitely be back soon!

This place is delicious! I brought my dog Riley and we had the best time. We had yogurt and sat outside! Can't wait to go back!

Sausages, Sausages, Sausages (and beer too of course!)...love this place! Sit outside or in and make sure to grab a '99 ice cream before you leave, yum!!

This place is fantastic!!!  I went with a bunch of friends and we each ordered something different and it was all delicious.  Loved the Cumberland and the Cheddar Brat, and who doesn't love a '99'!!!! Our server was very attentive and the atmosphere was just so much fun.  Can't wait to go again.  I highly recommend a visit soon!!!

Loved this spot when I visited!  Met some handsome dogs including Winston!!!!  Had a very fun evening with fab food , reasonably priced too. Staff were so chatty and friendly. And to top it off had a '99' loved the ice cream cone, only place in NY I could find one so had to come back again! Will defo recommend

I heard about this spot through a friend and it's dog friendly atmosphere. In one word...AMAZING! Great variety on the menu, lots of tasty beers! Owners Sinead and Scott were very warm and welcoming to us and our dog(who now has a photo on the wall). The bartender,Lee, was very atenitive to all our needs and friendly. And the best of all, we left and got ourselves a whipped ice cream for the walk home.
