This AvroKO-designed eatery may be the only spot on the new Bowery that’s as focused on food as it is on eye candy. While the Far East–inspired restaurant is certainly a stunner, it’s the British-Asian cooking of chef Brad Farmerie (Public) that’s the real draw. Lush foie gras was kissed with tandoori spices and accompanied by Earl Grey–soaked prunes. A regal take on beef Wellington featured venison wrapped in a puff pastry lined with mushroom duxelles. If the restaurant’s too packed, retire to the annex bar Madam Geneva, where you can access the menu or sip a pitch-perfect Singapore Sling.
