After I moved to New York a few years ago, I kept hearing about Doughnut Plant from different groups of friends. It took a while before I finally went, but it was worth the wait. I love that they have various flavors—both traditional and experimental—and various sizes—seeds and regular-sized—and various consistencies—yeast, cake and filled. I’ve tried one too many, and definitely gravitate towards the doughseeds. I feel less guilty about eating them since they’re smaller. My favorite flavors include cashew orange blossom, strawberry & cream, matcha green tea and rose. One of my friends lives nearby, so I always make sure I drop by on my way back home.
one word AMAZING! You haven't experienced an artisinal doughnut until you have gone to the doughnut plant. Even their ingredients they use are all vegan since the owner and operator is a health nut..yes a health nut. That helps to keep your doughnut experience a guilt free one, well maybe only a little!
I have to have a Doughnut from Doughnut Plant every year on my Birthday, I would have one everyday if they were fat free n carb free lol lol. The Doughnut Plant are the best in the world n love them, I don't eat any doughnut anywheres else.
