First, of course, you’ll need a doughnut to go with that morning coffee. The chubby yeast-raised babies here are fluffy yet substantial, glazed in a handful of rotating flavors including stawberry, mocha, vanilla bean and Valrhona chocolate.

I still say Doughnut Plant has some of the best donuts in the city. I have been here multiple times to satisfy my donut craving. They're definitely unique (square donuts??!!!!) with their flavors. I love the creme brulee donut as well as the trest leche, two of my favorites. I love that with every donut, there is deliciousness in every bite. If you get something cream filled, you get cream in every bite because they inject the heck out of the donut! Each donut is at least $3 so this is more than your run of the mill donut shop, but for good reason. I'm always torn between yeast or cake donut. The yeast is always light and fluffy, but the cake is dense, flavorful goodness. You really can't go wrong. I would suggest coming with a bunch of friends because then you can try a little of everything!

calories donut count... well... basically ever. doughnut plant is a classic spot with great coffee too. love their wild blueberry favor <3 it's not too sweet and has that dense texture that fills your soul with joy.

Easily some of the best doughnuts (donuts) in NYC. There is even a special lingo, with offerings called: yeast, filled square, doughseeds, and cake. Basically, you have light and airy to rich and fluffy. Any way you look at it though, you can't go wrong. There is an extraordinary offering of flavors, from standbys to seasonal and rotating items. The line can get a bit long, and sometimes they sell out. They also have the standard beverages, and some pretty good coffee.

After I moved to New York a few years ago, I kept hearing about Doughnut Plant from different groups of friends. It took a while before I finally went, but it was worth the wait. I love that they have various flavors—both traditional and experimental—and various sizes—seeds and regular-sized—and various consistencies—yeast, cake and filled. I’ve tried one too many, and definitely gravitate towards the doughseeds. I feel less guilty about eating them since they’re smaller. My favorite flavors include cashew orange blossom, strawberry & cream, matcha green tea and rose. One of my friends lives nearby, so I always make sure I drop by on my way back home.

one word AMAZING! You haven't experienced an artisinal doughnut until you have gone to the doughnut plant. Even their ingredients they use are all vegan since the owner and operator is a health nut..yes a health nut. That helps to keep your doughnut experience a guilt free one, well maybe only a little!

I have to have a Doughnut from Doughnut Plant every year on my Birthday, I would have one everyday if they were fat free n carb free lol lol. The Doughnut Plant are the best in the world n love them, I don't eat any doughnut anywheres else.

Easily the best donuts on the planet.  Pricier than Dunkin Donuts, these foodie target donuts are inspirations in a round dough form.
