Doughnut Plant

Doughnut auteur Mark Israel expands his cultish Lower East Side bakery to the Chelsea Hotel. The 35-seat space is decked out in doughnut-themed decor, including handmade pillows and tiles depicting the round fritters, plus an intricate ironwork counter molded from the hotel's original balcony railings. Choose from a rotating selection of yeast, jam and cake varieties, including three cookie-inspired versions: chocolate chip, chocolate peanut and oatmeal. To drink, the café has a full cappuccino bar serving Intelligentsia coffee and fresh-pressed juices.

If you are craving a classy and sophisticated delicious doughnut, head on over to Doughnut Plant in Chelsea asap. This ain't your average doughnut shop. These little fried pieces of heaven are a new and improved take on an old favorite. They are all made lovingly with no artificial flavoring, coloring or preservatives. Chose from mouth-watering yeast, cake and filled doughnuts. Some stand out options are the coconut cream filled square doughnut, Brooklyn blackout cake doughnut, and the black and white cake doughnut. They even make a chocolate 100% vegan doughnut and savory filled yeast doughnuts. Wash your sweet treats down with some house blend coffee.

Dinner With Tayo

The donut here are freaking amazing. I tried the peanut butter and french vanilla filling it is was very delightful. The donut was moist and not overly dry. And the decor was amazing and stunning.

The place is very clean. As for price it could be a little expensive but it's worth every dollar and cent you will spend.

Never going back to Dunkin after experiencing this. Tres Leches is by far my favorite!
