Doughnut auteur Mark Israel expands his cultish Lower East Side bakery to the Chelsea Hotel. The 35-seat space is decked out in doughnut-themed decor, including handmade pillows and tiles depicting the round fritters, plus an intricate ironwork counter molded from the hotel's original balcony railings. Choose from a rotating selection of yeast, jam and cake varieties, including three cookie-inspired versions: chocolate chip, chocolate peanut and oatmeal. To drink, the café has a full cappuccino bar serving Intelligentsia coffee and fresh-pressed juices.

Sometimes you just need to have doughnuts for dinner okay??? The tres leche is UNREAL! You honestly can't go wrong, try every single one and you will not regret it.

Oh Doughnut Plant, you are utterly reliable for really great doughnuts.

The Chelsea location is tucked away and because of ongoing construction, quite easy to miss. It's been under construction forever and it's like they're hidden in the dark.

From the savory doughpods which are just ok, to the massive doughception doughnuts, and the doughnut roses (give me a dozen please!), there is literally a doughnut for everyone. Whether you're a cake or yeast fan, these doughnuts are great. My personal favorite is the creme brulee and the blackout. It's hard to leave here with just one but with great discipline, you can do it.

Happy eating and remember: Don't deny, satisfy!

Mmmmmm...doughnuts. I love the options here at Doughnut Plant. Having the options to select from a yeast, cake, vegan, or one stuffed with cream, chocolate, or whatever - I love this place! Bring out your phones as these babies are definitely ones that you'll want to post on your social media and share with others to make them jealous!

If you are craving a classy and sophisticated delicious doughnut, head on over to Doughnut Plant in Chelsea asap. This ain't your average doughnut shop. These little fried pieces of heaven are a new and improved take on an old favorite. They are all made lovingly with no artificial flavoring, coloring or preservatives. Chose from mouth-watering yeast, cake and filled doughnuts. Some stand out options are the coconut cream filled square doughnut, Brooklyn blackout cake doughnut, and the black and white cake doughnut. They even make a chocolate 100% vegan doughnut and savory filled yeast doughnuts. Wash your sweet treats down with some house blend coffee.

Very authentic creative innovative new flavors. Fresh daily and a major tourist attraction.

The donut here are freaking amazing. I tried the peanut butter and french vanilla filling it is was very delightful. The donut was moist and not overly dry. And the decor was amazing and stunning.

The place is very clean. As for price it could be a little expensive but it's worth every dollar and cent you will spend.

Never going back to Dunkin after experiencing this. Tres Leches is by far my favorite!
