Time Out says
Downtown Atlantic's ambiance revolves around black and white photos with a throwback theme inspired by Brooklyn's golden trolley age hung on exposed brick walls. The menu is contemporary, promising white truffle oil drizzles on spinach tagliatelle or chipotle mahonesa for the crab cakes. Dishes can occasionally err on the extreme delivering bland pasta or shrimp rolls drowning in sauce. Green tile floors do little to absorb the animated conversations of a raucous after work crowd that can bring otherwise attentive service to a crawl.
