Time Out says
Those looking for Mediterranean foods are well-catered for at Fig & Olive, a Midtown East spot that’s the third location of this chain. Taking inspiration from the sunshine-infused cuisine of the French Riviera, you can expect fresh fruit and veg, carpaccio and olive oil galore.
Order from a variety of seasonal menus, including lunch, brunch, dinner and dessert. Happy Hour aperitivo is served from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 6pm, which includes cocktails, wine, beer and a choice of crostini and sharing plates. The menu is headed up by Pascal Condomine (previously executive chef of D’Artagnan Rôtisserie in NYC, who apprenticed at the Michelin two-star Hôtel de France) and in charge of the kitchen at this branch is Michael Rendine.
At the heart of FIG & OLIVE’s cuisine is a philosophy that begins, first and foremost, with a passion and respect for ingredients. From paper-thin carpaccios, a fruity blood orange infused olive oil, a supple burrata or an aged balsamic vinegar, we serve every dish without compromise. Our approach to cooking is inspired by the regional love of premium-quality olive oil used in place of butter with nothing to weigh you down, just fresh flavors that are key to the Mediterranean Diet.
