Hanging Lucite boxes filled with flames sounded like a neat idea, but the fire marshal ixnayed the concept at Fireside, chef Sam DeMarco’s (First, Merge, District) eatery inside the Omni Berkshire Place. The menu will proceed as planned and features an eclectic assortment of New American dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week, including seared diver-scallops “Wellington” and short-rib tacos.
