This upscale East Harlem Spanish restaurant lures Columbia students with faux-leather banquettes and a candlelit dining room. Sadly, the food is mediocre: A tapa of sautéed shrimp lacked garlicky punch, and an overpriced entrée of lobster-topped paella came with juiceless chicken, shriveled mussels and tough yellow rice. Tortilla española, a fluffy omelette with peppers and sausage in addition to the traditional potatoes, did well by us, but we suspected we could have found its cheaper equivalent at the Latin diner next door (also called Floridita, run by the same owner).
