Go! Go! Curry!
Go! Go! Curry!
An homage to Yankee slugger Hideki Matsui’s jersey number rather than a ’60s flashback, “Go Go” (“five five”) is a Japanese chain dedicated to crispy meats (chicken cutlets, pork sausage, shrimp) over rice with a spicy sauce. At its stateside debut, chef Ronnel Rivera (Ramen King) mans the fryer in a tiny space filled with quirky decor like gorillacentric signage.

One of my favorite lunch places to go to in the city.  They offer a variety of different types of Katsu dishes with Chicken, Pork, Shrimp and Sausage.  The Japanese take on curry is fantastic.  The menu has portion options that correlate to baseball - The feeling when you step in the door feels like you're in Japan.  Great place to eat - when hungry for a reasonable price.

Delicious Japanese curry. If you've never had katsu (fried pork) curry get over there ASAP. Tasty, so tasty! You also get a lot of food and it's super affordable. A hot lunch spot for sure.
