Gossip flows as freely as the brews at this retro-fitted, houndstooth-pattern–tiled coffee house from James Paloumbis (MexiBBQ) and John Bortolis, stocked with stacks of tabloids and a whopping 40 java varieties. Along with espresso, French press and 10 rotating iced teas on tap, the 65-seat space offers sweet treats by way of MasterChef alum Scottish Francis, who unleashes doughnuts in varieties like prosciutto-Guiness, key lime pie and the namesake doughnut, a caffeine-infused chocolate round, upgraded with a gold-leaf topper.
