Monica Von Thun Calderón, a longtime partner in Sullivan Street Bakery, acquired sole ownership of the original space and renamed it after her grandmother. She still produces Sullivan’s signature baked goods, perfect for a picnic in Central Park. Pick up sandwiches, like the vegan panino Greco (skordalia, arugula, pickled onions and thyme-flavored chickpeas), and cool bottles of Fizzy Lizzy, packed into picnic-friendly gable boxes.

This bakery is a nice and calm place to study or go on a coffee date. The pastiries smell and look delicious. I tried the Nutella cookie, which was the perfect amount of sweet and buttery! The cookie was even shaped like a heart, which is perfect for Valentine's Day next week. I will definitely be back to try the butternut squash flatbread!
