Heartland Brewery & Barbecue (CLOSED)

This chain has staked locations where tourists from the middle states are sure to gather—the South Street Seaport, Union Square, Radio City, the Empire State Building and Times Square. The beer, once brewed on the premises, is now made at a Brooklyn facility; with five year-round and two seasonal options, the suds are still tried-and-true. You won’t find the same old chicken wings, because they’ve evolved into buffalo-chicken spring rolls. Barbecue fare is also served at this outpost.
