Prospect Heights brewhounds can relax over a cup of joe at this expansive café, from the owner of Prospect Perk up the street. Baristas pull shots of Stumptown espresso from a La Marzocco GB5 in the airy spot, which is outfitted with a dark-wood floor, pressed tin ceiling and plenty of elbow room. A full-fledged daytime menu offers quiches, sandwiches and homemade pastries made by baker Pete Solomita, formerly of Little Buddy Biscuit Company.

:: FOOD ::

Every New Yorker has one, a favorite coffee spot on their way to work,

Mine was hard to find, I had to walk at least 8 blocks before discovering this pretty little gem.

And I have to admit, I take a little de-tour to get my morning coffee.

But I see it as the perfect excuse to get one of their DELICIOUS Almond Croissants!

The people are super nice, the vibe always lively and their music selection on point.

And if the barista has your iced matcha ready before your turn, you'd gladly take the trip!

It's the perfect start of the day!
