Straw-textured walls and shelves lined with colorful sake bottles make a handsome backdrop for Iron Chef House’s beautifully plated fresh fish, served by an impeccable waitstaff. Exceptional specialty rolls include the spicy Yellow Dragon (tuna, salmon, yellowtail and crab topped with fish flakes) and the Xmas roll (tuna, salmon, vegetables, caviar and rice wrapped in a white pancake). On the cooked side, a tender grilled slab of Chilean sea bass is served with miso sauce and sautéed vegetable noodles. And in case you’re wondering, no, the owners don’t have any connection to the wacky cable cook-off show.
