Eat like a sheikh for less than $10 a person. Although the setting is frankly dumpy (and small, with only three tables), the Lebanese dishes on display in the glass case are simply fabulous. (Be sure to ask what each dish is, if you’re not a brain or testicle fan.) Juicy shish tawook (grilled chicken in a garlicky marinade), citrusy tabouli and pressed pita sandwiches filled with tangy lamb or chicken shawarma are all worth the R-train trek.
