This place is open 24 hours -- which is great when you're stumbling home at 3 in the morning from the club and feel your belly sloshing with alcohol. This steadies you and if you have the cravings at 1 in the morning, a quick jaunt here will satiate your hunger. The food is hispanic, and is filling and flavorful. Sometimes they get carried away with the salt, but usually you get some good food for a good price.

Caribbean (the island) food - done fast and cheap. The decor and atmosphere are like your neighborhood diner (and sometimes a little lacking in cleanliness), and you will hear constant shouting between the prep up front and kitchen in the back to offset the telenovelas on the TVs. The food is authentic and delicious, and pretty cheap - if you arrive late in the day or evening it may have been sitting around for a few hours... Great spot though, and open all the time.
