Le Pain is a small chain that you can find all over the city, and its a good go to if you're looking for something predictable and not too fancy and will probably satisfy everyone. Sit down or take out are both available. I'm a big fan of their hummus, bread and quiches. The service is usually kind of slow, and the atmosphere is mostly "confused tourist" but it has everything they might want, so its a good spot for an out of towner. The communal tables can be a bit strange, but who knows you might make a new friend.
