Chef LaurenceEdelman (Barbuto, Mermaid Inn) converted the Braeburn space—now outfitted with a vintage crystal-and-wrought-iron chandelier, white-painted brick walls and steer horns—into this New American restaurant. Expect composed plates like lamb tartare with potatoes, anchovy and Parmesan, and crusty brandade with olives and toast.

Simply one of New York's best restaurants. Chef Laurence Edelman is a beyond talented and Left Bank is a restaurant you wish was in your neighborhood! Can't say enough about this incredible restaurant.
If you love farm to table restaurants who only use fresh high quality ingredients go to Left Bank! Your taste buds will thank you!

Great service and atmosphere!! Delicious (the best) house made pasta and juicy/crispy iron split chicken are my favorites. Their menu changes seasonally so I have to go back there very often. YUM!!

Perfect Neighborhood spot! Amazing seasonal food, superb cocktails (and the best bartender in New York- hands down- Claiborne Fortenberry. some people come JUST to have dinner at the bar with him.) excellent wine list to boot.
Comfort food if your mom was a world class chef (mine wasn't). Seasonally driven, mediterranean inspired insta-classics in a dining room that can only be described as cozy. Staff is knowledgable, friendly and treats everyone like family.
Left Bank treats all their guests like family. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting it's hard not to love it there. They take care creating their dishes, often making their own pasta, liver pate and getting a lot of their vegetables from local farmers. Their wines are chosen with care as well and the specialty cocktails are delicious and inventive. Definitely worth a visit.
Stumbled upon Left Bank whilst wandering around the West Village. What a find! Fantastic steak, a well made Old Fashioned and a Kale salad to be remembered.
