Lumpia Shack Snackbar
Time Out says
Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.
Joining the ranks of Smorgasburg vets gone brick-and-mortar, the first full-fledged storefront from this lumpia specialist goes beyond its namesake Filipino spring rolls. The menu revolves around snacks—puffy garlic chips ($4 a bag) are a good starter—and mix-and-match rice bowls ($12.50), with toppings such as fatty pork belly and sauces like the Bicol, a fragrant, curry-like mix of coconut milk, pickled jalapeño and non-dairy coconut yogurt.
