Fort Greene’s restaurant renaissance continues with this Nuevo Latino joint with a minimal South Beach decor and hip-shaking (though low-volume) Latino soundtrack. The menu reaches out to more countries than a backpacking Aussie. Peruvian ceviches mingle with tender Colombian arepas and Brazilian churrasco with supple spiced tenderloin. There’s even a Mexican take on the overplayed, soupy-centered, warm chocolate cake, amped up here with spicy chocolate, warm bananas and pineapple ice cream. The prices here are reasonable, making this a neighborhood spot where you might actually meet your neighbors.
