Cult favorites come and go, and now one former hot spot has returned: M & R Bar-Dining Room, one of Nolita’s first local hangouts, has set up shop where gay club the Slide once was—in the cellar next to Marion’s Continental on the Bowery. Owner Richard Bach has brought back the antique liquor bottles and art-student nudes and added tapas like chorizo-and-grilled sourdough skewers.
