Time Out says

This pint-sized French cafébrings Southern France to Soho, awash in country charm, with reclaimed farmer's tables and vintage colander chandeliers. Dishes like quiche lorraine, chickpea galettes and focaccia pissaladière are offered alongside sweets, including cakey madeleine cookies, baba au rhum and flan-like clafouti. Everything, of course, can be washed down with Toby's Estate coffee. The nutty chocolate chip cookies are so good, they made the list of Oprah's favorite things.

Maman is a magnifique must stop for pastries and cookies.

Everything on the menu is great but the one item you have to get is the chocolate chip cookie because it is spectacular and encompasses everything a chocolate chip cookie should be. The pistachio croissant, cherry brioche, and the nutella beignet (yes!) are other great items if you're in the mood for something sweet. The presentation is French and gorgeous with an attention to detail from the plates to the go-to cups with wonderful designs.

Happy eating and remember: Don't deny, satisfy!

I'm sorry, Levain, but Maman is my favorite cookie of all time.

Everything about this place is great--from it's ideal location near Soho/the Brooklyn Bridge, to it's healthy food options, the hot chocolate, and these amazing cookies.

Just don't ask me to share, because it's not happening.

You'll want to eat everything on the menu. Try the nut-filled chocolate chip cookie & ice cream... you'll be very happy you did. The place can get crowded on the weekends (as any NYC hot spot), so try it on the earlier side, or weekdays to avoid a long wait ;-)

The food here is so delicious, and you can trick yourself into thinking it’s healthy because it’s very veggie-heavy (in a good way). It all tastes so much better than it sounds, I promise.
