Manatus is and isn’t your typical greasy-spoon diner. Sure, there are the standard plastic-coated menus listing dozens of fried food items, which are served by friendly waitstaff. But distinguishing the place is a full bar, flattering lighting and a flaming gay clientele, especially late at night when tipsy bargoers pile in.
