Time Out says

Singapore native Larry Reutens (Alias, Tasting Room, Aquavit) returns to his roots with this East Village restaurant. The classically trained toque dishes out riffs on the Chinese-Malay-Indian mash-up cuisine—such as tamarind-braised pork leg and grilled whole fish stuffed with sambal—along with a few modern takes, like a honeydew melon dessert soup with mint and coconut sorbet. Jeremy Hawn (Mayahuel) is responsible for the tropical cocktail menu, which includes quaffs like the Lemongrass Collins. Inspired by colonial-era houses in the Southeast Asian city-state, the 40-seat space is decorated with bamboo blinds and white latticework on the ceiling.
