Time Out says

Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.

Colorfully painted walls, traditional paper flags and glowing candelabras strike a festive chord at this South of the Border eatery. Perhaps more Cal than Mex, buttery Muenster cheese and bright-red guajillo pepper sauce punch up unconventional nachos, citrus-marinated carnitas is fall-apart tender, and deep-fried tortillas (a.k.a. Radio Roll-Ups) with roasted veggies are uniformly overstuffed—you may toddle out feeling the same way.
