Mi Bolivia (CLOSED)
Time Out says
Friendly warning! We're working hard to be accurate. But these are unusual times, so please check that venues remain open.
A world of language confusion, kitschy ’80s decor and a menu that includes a pork-head sandwich, sauced beef tongue and scrambled beef with egg sauce await you at this lively Bolivian restaurant. Warm up for the event with the house special, peanut soup (it sells out quickly), then prepare to fill up. Entrées come with a plateful of sides: Roasted pork shares space with sweet potatoes, plantains, corn and salad. The charcoal beef stew—hearty enough on its own—comes with potato, rice and egg. Vegetarians and
light eaters might be better off with
saner-size salteñas: buttery pastries with assorted savory fillings.
