Momomaniacs can now go straight to the source for Christina Tosi's whimsical desserts. The pastry maven converted a former storage room of her 11,000-square-foot Williamsburg commissary into a storefront. Early-adoptertypes can preview products still in development, while the risk-averse can dig into the outfit's signature goodies, including Crack Pie, Compost Cookies and cake truffles. Among the savory options, find riffs on Momofuku's signature buns—one made with pulled-pork shoulder in lieu of belly, and a forthcoming veggie option with caramelized onions, pea shoots and scallions, both piled with hoisin and pickles. The spot is still working on its liquor license—so the boozy milk shakes haven't made their way across the bridge—but you can sip on cereal and raspberry-lemonade-flavored shakes in the meantime.

With all of the hype that Christina Tosi gets being touted as one of the best pastry chefs of NY etc, I would've expected the desserts here to be more flavorful. I had a slice of the crack pie, and while decadent and unique, it just seemed like a really buttery slice of pie (which is maybe the point). That was pretty good, but I had a taste of the cereal milk soft serve that everyone seems to love and was so disappointed. The first bite was like whoa! yeah cereal milk as ice cream! Yum! But then you keep eating and it gets so sickly sweet, I could not finish more than a few bites. You would think one would know that something like cereal milk can be coyingly sweet, there ought to be some balance. I was not a fan. However, the crack pie was quite good for what it was.

Incredibly creative, and incredibly delicious. The compost cookie is perfection in cookie form, as is the confetti cake and the cereal milk shake. Definitely a must for those with a sweet tooth. Get anything or everything and you won't be disappointed.

Soooo delicious! A favorite is the compost cookie. I've tried making my own at home and they just aren't the same. The "birthday cake" cake, crack pie, everything else is delicious too.

Everything. Is. SO. GOOD! I've sampled various confections on different occasions. Some of my favorites are the cereal milk ice cream, crack pie, and birthday cake truffles. The cookies are really good too! I've brought the ever popular birthday cake for a few friends over the years and it always gets such a great response... aka people actually eat it!! and love it. Everyone loves going to Momo Milk Bar so it's a cool place to stop if you're in Williamsburg with out of town-ers or locals.

Ah, the sweet taste of cereal milk soft serve covered with sugary corn flakes. This is my go to summer ice cream spot (and one of the only Milk Bar spots you can get boozy milkshakes!). I begged my friends to get me a birthday cake from here for over a year and it did NOT disappoint. Everyone at the table was visibly groaning with pleasure. You must try the crack pie and the candy bar pie, and one each of every cookie they have! Though corn is my fave. They've also got bomb pastries. You'll need to lie down after this one, or at least take a walk to check out some of the nearby antique furniture shops.
