Time Out says

Pastry whiz Christina Tosi conjures up homey sweets at this bakery spin-off down the block from Momofuku Ssäm Bar. East village hipsters, fawning foodies and in-the-know tourists line up for the cultish goodies, including crack pie (toasted oat crust with a gooey butter filling), cereal-milk soft serve and compost cookies made with pretzels, potato chips, coffee, oats, butterscotch and chocolate chips.

SO. MUCH. YES. This place is mecca of unique New York desserts. The cereal milk soft serve is a must have.  Be sure to add's necessary!  The cookies are all equally awesome, but the corn cookie is my favorite.  The cake balls are worth the calories.  Buttery-sprinkley-deliciousness.

PSA: The new birthday cake ice cream flavor will be gobbling up the majority of your paycheck this summer. The delicious new flavor, which is out just in time for summer, is helping New Yorkers cope with the hot hot heat of the city streets. For those not willing to brave the line, don't forget that postmates or seamless will deliver Milk Bar right to your door. I'd like to think I am almost on a first name basis with most of New York's postmates for this reason...

No corn cookie will ever top this corn cookie. Ever. Also the cereal mix they have is just fun.

There is ALWAYS a line but it usually moves pretty fast and it's also totally worth it. My favorite thing is the birthday cake truffle balls - you get 3 in a pack for $4.75. They also make birthday cakes that are stuffed with mini cake balls and I highly suggest getting one whether it's your birthday or not. The infamous cereal ice cream is really not that good in my opinion - it tastes a little grainy but people seem to love it.

Anytime you're looking for a rush of sugar this should be your go to spot.

The place is normally kind of crowded, and expect to pay for a lot of cool branding. That being said, the amount of sugar and deliciousness is off the charts. There are so many options, and they are all so good - this place sort of requires multiple trips or an insane binge. The shakes and pies are stand out stars but really you can't go wrong. There are now multiple locations, and a few re-sellers, so I certainly recommend giving it a try - even if you don't want to wait for it.

Yummmm. If you've got a sweet tooth this place is for you. The line is a little daunting but it's worth it. I got the crack pie and it's delicious. Addictive! And so cheap for such great desserts. Need to go back!

Give birthday-cake flavored anything a shot here: truffles, cookies or even a real-deal slice of cake. Reasonably priced, you can't go wrong sampling any of the delicious treats, especially their "crack pie," to which you'll undoubtedly soon be addicted.
