Time Out says
Pastry whiz Christina Tosi conjures up homey sweets at this bakery spin-off down the block from Momofuku Ssäm Bar. East village hipsters, fawning foodies and in-the-know tourists line up for the cultish goodies, including crack pie (toasted oat crust with a gooey butter filling), cereal-milk soft serve and compost cookies made with pretzels, potato chips, coffee, oats, butterscotch and chocolate chips.

PSA: The new birthday cake ice cream flavor will be gobbling up the majority of your paycheck this summer. The delicious new flavor, which is out just in time for summer, is helping New Yorkers cope with the hot hot heat of the city streets. For those not willing to brave the line, don't forget that postmates or seamless will deliver Milk Bar right to your door. I'd like to think I am almost on a first name basis with most of New York's postmates for this reason...
Give birthday-cake flavored anything a shot here: truffles, cookies or even a real-deal slice of cake. Reasonably priced, you can't go wrong sampling any of the delicious treats, especially their "crack pie," to which you'll undoubtedly soon be addicted.
