National Restaurant
Dining at one of the vast, gaudy Brighton supper clubs is something everyone should try at least once. This split-level hall, featuring a stage, a wooden dance floor and opulent lavatories, is a good bet. The menu includes typically heavy Russian dishes and lighter French options. Entertainment may be anything from costumed dancers and singers to local bands (with a big Russian star occasionally thrown in). Expect to see older women in filmy black lace getting jiggy on the dance floor. If they’re not too shy to shake it, why should you be?

Food was ok but the way they do business is really shady.

When I got the bill from the server he said the 10% extra charge was gratuity and then after 2 minutes he came back and said that 10% was actually the charge for the venue. WTF??! And when he saw me not buying it he claimed that the surcharge is the gratuity but for the busboys only. Please people get your story straight, you are clearly reaping people off.

And don't even get me started with the lady at the coat check. She clearly has no clue what she is doing and is extremely rude. Not the best way to end the night, especially when you were overcharged by shady and misleading servers and owners.
