Dining at one of the vast, gaudy Brighton supper clubs is something everyone should try at least once. This split-level hall, featuring a stage, a wooden dance floor and opulent lavatories, is a good bet. The menu includes typically heavy Russian dishes and lighter French options. Entertainment may be anything from costumed dancers and singers to local bands (with a big Russian star occasionally thrown in). Expect to see older women in filmy black lace getting jiggy on the dance floor. If they’re not too shy to shake it, why should you be?
