By far the BEST service I ever received whilst in New York! I'm a huge food lover and being Greek, I've had Greek food from almost everywhere..but I have to say from the food to the service to the staff.. It was all amazing!! Definitely can't wait to get back to New York and visit Nerai again! The wine from Greece the waiter recommended was the best white wine I've ever had in my life. I was with a party of 4 and we had various dishes from lobster to lamb chops to fish! Experience was a 10/10!

Beautiful ambience, amazing cocktails, top notch service. Stopped by for a drink after work and ended up staying much longer than expected. Bartenders were great with suggestions and were able to accomodate (and greatly impress) my vegan friend which made me very happy! We stayed by the bar this time but will definitely be back for a dinner soon. We loved it. A great place for a client meeting or a date. Yes, it is not cheap but the experience is totally worth it. Highly recommended

Happy Nerai is finally open! Went in for dinner and drinks last night and it was amazing. Lively crowd and the food was delicious. Perfect spot to bring my clients. Will definitely be going back soon

Nerai is a much-needed and welcome addition to the midtown area! I went there for lunch with colleagues the other day and was thoroughly impressed. Everything is top notch, from the decor, to the service, to the food. I highly recommend the tzatziki, spicy feta, and the grape arugula salad. The octopus was out of this world. Great wine list, too. Definitely going back!

Nerai is an amazing addition to the Greek cuisine. Modern, cozy and friendly atmosphere makes you forget about the long day you just had! On top of that food is delicious, and the prices are reasonable. Grilled octopus is probably the best grilled octopus I have ever had! You cannot go wrong with their spreads and salads. We had tarama, hummus, tzadziki as starters. Greek and roasted beets salad is a must have! We got whole fish as a main course. It was perfectly cooked and served with ladolemono souse and capers. Lavender mousse cake is a die for dessert! Make sure you will safe some place for this one! Nerai is nothing else but wonderful experience and DELICIOUS FOOD! Can't wait to be back!!!

Nerai is a crisp and clean atmosphere that is particularly comfortable for an upscale Greek cuisine. Its main dining room features white cushioned booth seating and a touch of ropes along the edges for a nautical feel amid the Mediterranean. A true feeling at sea is complete when you order the stuffed calamari (with feta of course) and octopus - a must for appetizers! The octopus in particular was both tender and tough; the perfect combination. The chickpeas at the base of that plate complimented the tarama and spicy feta dips we chose as starters. When we thought our savory satisfaction was met in the first few starters, we experienced a delightful arugula and grape salad with sesame crusted goat cheese. That was the perfect dish to open our palates for youvetsi; a beef short rib with orzo - yet nothing short of flavor! Too full to continue for dessert, we glanced at the table next to use to lick their plate clean from a lavender mousse cake. Looking forward to Thursday nights reservation!
