Japanese chef Toru Okuda's Tokyo restaurant has one Michelin star, and he's finally earned one in the New York, as well. His first foray in the city's dining scene is an unabashed success, with a seven-seat counter where diners can enjoy his upscale, nine-course kaiseki menu.
