Visit the UES eatery on a weekend afternoon and you'll find a mix of twenty-somethings and families enjoying prix fixe options. Favorites include the brioche French toast with caramelized apples, mascarpone cheese and vanilla maple syrup, and the savory BLT fritatta. Little ones eat off the children's menu: $10 buys them a kid-size meal, drink and dessert (chocolate-chip cookies with a scoop of ice cream).

Parlor Steak & Fish (as it's now known) is an UES staple. Their weekend brunch is Prix Fix and comes with 6 BIG drinks. So not all you can drink, but 6 is a lot when they're the size they pour. Also, not sure they actually cut you off. On Monday's they have half price bottles of wine all night. You should grab a bottle and sit at the bar for an app or or some of their awesome homemade chips. I should mention I have actually never had dinner here, but the brunch is great and the bar staff is great. Highly recommend!
