This casual Italian restaurant, located in Midtown, has neighborhood spot written all over it. And sure we love those when they’re done well, like here, but you know what we’re most in love with at Pasta Lovers Trattoria? The incredible Hennessy Cheese Wheel – a massive Hennessy flambéed parmesan wheel with pasta dipped in and looking quite incredible when it’s pulled out and plated, to be perfectly honest with you. Just make sure you phone ahead and order – it’s not on the main menu.
Outside of this particular culinary banger, the trattoria goes big on authentic Italian dishes. We’re talking mozzarella caprese salads, arborio rice balls, eggplant rollatini and a raft of ace-looking pasta dishes – including fettuccine alfredo, baked ziti and a very traditional lasagna.
The wine list is long and features a very solid range of Italian options, as well as champagne and bottles from across Europe.
