Despite being part of a chain that seems to run its business out of bicycle baskets, this Penang has proudly outdone itself with cool lighting and an ambitious cocktail bar. The drama of the space contrasts with the uncomplicated food: fresh, dependable dishes like mee goreng, gado gado and sweet curries that are heavy on the coconut. In other words, exactly what you find at other local Penangs, just buffed up to match the nabe.
