Time Out says

The fact that Woody Allen orders from Pig Heaven tells you a lot. Like Woody, this hopping spot is a longtime local favorite. It’s now in its 23rd year of serving solid Chinese fare to Upper East Siders—from Cosmo-sipping babes to Gucci-garbed grannies. The tasteful decor includes light pink walls, peach tablecloths and sleek nut-colored banquettes. Spareribs are meaty, and Shanghai noodles and broccoli with garlic deliver on flavor.

When people rave about NY Chinese food...this is what they mean.  This place is no joke - great quality, great selection, great taste.  When you walk in, you're greeted by a gallery of celebs who've dined at Pig Heaven - Tom Hanks and Woody Allen are just a few to name.  Needless to say, try the spare ribs. They're the juicy, and flavorful and absolutely delicious.  This place is a classic and you'll be happy you went.

Pig Heaven is a Chinese food lover's paradise. I don't think I've ever had Chinese food that was as good quality as the food at this place. This place is different from your standard neighborhood Chinese spot in a number of ways, but especially because of the price - this place is expensive, but it's 100% worth it for the quality and service. All of the staff was very nice, and the owner Nancy was on top of everything, even on a busy Saturday night.
