Supersized portions and potent tropical cocktails make Regional Thai Taste a Chelsea favorite, though dishes are about as spicy as a Baptist picnic (request extra-hot). The menu includes noodles, chicken satay and Massaman beef curry, plus a page of seasonal offerings. The Samui Island Salmon Supreme is a nice piece of grilled fish in a green-curry sauce. Even better is one of the specials—two hearty chunks of duck in a sweet red curry that brims with pineapple and lychee. Sweeter still: the coconut ice cream, joined by sticky rice and a crunchy sprinkling of spiced whole chestnuts.
