The eats are good, cheap, filling and unapologetically greasy—don’t bring your fussy friends here. Earthy black-bean soup goes for $2 a bowl; a platter of flavor-packed vaca frita (shredded fried beef) is $10.95 with two sides (try the sweet plantains and garlicky yuca). The flan is fine, and tiny goblets of cream-topped coffee liqueur are presented gratis, with plenty of Old Havana flair.
